1968 Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Fender USA case. Guitar 's serial number is #231824 with neck dated 10/22/68 which is according to the information acquired from the previous owner... the identical neck date as the "Holy Grail" used by Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock. Guitar is as shown, appears to have been repainted years ago along with normal chips to the paint shown in photographs. The guitar has old body routing as shown in photo . The three bridge pick ups each have 4 numbers on them #9478, #1638 and #9408 or 9428? {difficult to read}; I cannot be positive but have no reason to believe that they are old replacements. The previous owner owned this guitar for 15 years and the guitar is in the same condition as when he purchased it. The guitar has been opened with care in order to display the interior. I was told this very desirable and rare guitar has perfect tone .
