James D'Aquisto

D'Aquisto Archtop... 1979, A one owner guitar on the D'Aquisto master list. This is a 16" Maple body archtop in an iced tea Sunburst finish. It's a great playing and sounding guitar with a single neck pickup with a volume and tone control. Fully bound with pearl block inlays in the Ebony fingerboard. Grover Imperial tuners, pearl inlaid scroll headstock, Ebony tailpiece, carved bridge and bound pickguard. This is the guitar design that Fender made under license from James D'Aquisto, but this is the real deal. Magnificent player, great sounding guitar in excellent ++ condition. Original Gigbag.
D'Angelico

D'Angelico Exel ... From 1933-34, a very
early Excel Model with “Exel” engraved on the headstock. This has a 16 ½ “ wide flamed maple body that
is 3” deep. It is a non-cutaway archtop in a light “Ice-Tea Sunburst”
finish. The body is multi-bound, and
the neck has the cutout headstock design with finial, inlaid with Exel Shield,
with original open tuners. Trapeze tailpiece, pearl block inlays in the bound 5
piece Maple neck. Stabilized top crack. Bound and engraved stairstep pickguard,
carved ebony bridge.
One of John D'Angelico's masterpieces, the famed New Yorker model. This example from the late 1930's is finished in a reddish sunburst.

Enlarged, deeply carved Bell shaped body with S shaped soundholes bound in Abalone. Elaborately inlaid over all edges of the body with Abalone inside Herringbone trim and wood bindings. A 17 3/8” sunburst finish acoustic archtop. It has a birdseye maple body with a multi
bound spruce top, It has the Frequensator tailpiece, an elevated bound tortoise
style pickguard, and a carved rosewood bridge.
Script headstock logo, notched diamond shaped inlays in the bound
rosewood fingerboard on the 5 piece neck.
Open Grover gears. Nice neck
angle. Guitar sounds great and sets up
for any style of play.

EPIPHONE Triumph - 1946 model. This is an amber blond finish, deep maple body archtop with a carved 17 3/8" spruce top. The back is a beautiful birdseye figured maple, and the sides are quite curly. It has 3 ply binding on the top with the back and neck single bound. The neck is a 5 piece maple and mahogany laminate with a script logo headstock and notched diamond fingerboard inlays. It has the Frequensator tailpiece and the original tulip button "e" tuners. The replaced pickguard is single bound tortoise finish material.

EPIPHONE Triumph Cutaway - 1950 model. Precursor to the Triumph Regent. This unusual brown sunburst model features some appointments unique for a very limited time in 1950. It is a single round cutaway acoustic archtop. It has a deep maple body with a carved 17 3/8" spruce top. The top has 3 ply binding and the back and neck are single bound. It has a 5 piece maple and mahogany laminated neck with a script logo headstock and notched diamond fingerboard inlays. It has the Frequensator tailpiece and the original tulip button "e" tuners. The headstock has a holly veneer with a crested shield inlay. The pickguard is single bound tortoise finish material.

EPIPHONE Broadway …1945. A 17 3/8” wide body sunburst finish acoustic archtop. It has a birdseye maple body with a multi bound spruce top with unbound F holes. It has a gold plated patent pending Frequensator tailpiece, an elevated bound tortoise style pickguard, and a carved rosewood bridge. Script pearl logo headstock inlay in the holly veneer, with the last of the leaf and vine inlays, It has large pearl block inlays in the bound rosewood fingerboard on the 5 piece neck. Beautiful gold plated E tuning gears with the light green tulip buttons.

Floating tortoise pickguard, white octagonal controls knobs with pointers, carved bridge and a trapeze tailpiece. Gorgeous condition, sounds great!

EPIPHPONE Zephyr ... 1958. And another single cutaway archtop with a thin body. Bound Maple body in a dark Walnut finish with a Sunburst top. Mahogany neck is bound with a Rosewood fingerboard, notched block pearl inlays. Unbound headstock with metal plate logo, white button Kluson gears. It one has 2 non-original Epiphone Mini Humbuckers with the usual dual controls with a 3 way switch. Floating tortoise "E" pickguard, black bakelite controls knobs, carved bridge and a trapeze tailpiece. Excellent condition.

EPIPHONE EMPEROR ... 1946. This is a magnificent natural finish 19" acoustic archtop. It's a classic. This Big Blond has the Frequensator Tailpiece, Pearl Vine headstock inlay with tulip button tuners. Laminated 7 piece neck with a multibound Ebony fingerboard with Pearl block inlays that have triangle Abalone inlays in them. Multibound carved Spruce top with highly quilted Maple back that is now a Golden Amber color, and the sound is just as warm and inviting. Replaced bound pickguard. Excellent Condition. OHSC

EPIPHONE EMPEROR, 1946. The Big One, Arguably one of the finest orchestra style archtops of the Great Jazz Era. A huge 19” non cutaway natural blond finished flamed maple masterpiece. Multibound Spruce top, 7 piece Maple neck with engraved tuners with mint green tulip buttons, and the original gold plated Patent Pending Frequensator engraved tailpiece. Correct bound pickguard replacement coming and to be included. No cracks and very minor checking. A huge sounding easy player. One of the worlds great archtops.

EPIPHONE EB-232 RIVOLI BASS... 1968, Symmetrical double cutaway thinline semi-hollow body 4 string bass. Sunburst finish bound body, black finish neck with a rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Script headstock logo with open right angle tuners, stop tailpiece. 2 Pickups, a large chrome covered neck pickup and an alnico bass pickup at the bridge. Master volume added. A great sounding bass. No Name Guitar

No Name Archtop - Gibson / Epiphone, This is a 17” wide archtop of uncertain provenance, most likely an Epiphone Century model. It appears to have a Gibson style neck and body, but has no identifying name of manufacturer. It has a sunburst finish mahogany body and a maple top with unbound “F” holes. The top and back are single bound. The neck is 1 piece mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. The headstock has the classic Gibson shape but has no logo. It has a black plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, a trapeze tailpiece, open Waverly gears, a carved rosewood bridge and a single ply tortoise pickguard. It features a single neck pickup with volume and tone controls on the lower bout. This guitar may have been completed by someone working at Gibson or Epiphone prior to the Gibson take over. It has the feel and parts of guitars from the 1950’s.

It has an oval soundhole with diamond pattern rosette. Carved Ebony bridge and extension fingerboard with Pearl dot inlays. Deep V shaped neck is fully bound, the headstock has a Pearl inlaid fleur de lis. Engraved 3 on a strip tuning gears. Trapeze tailpiece with celluloid block to retain strings. Mahogany finish with an Ebony top.

STYLE 0 Artist ... 1918 Model.
Gibson's top of the line 16” Red Mahogany sunburst finish archtop guitar from
the early part of the last century. It features the distinctive scroll shaped
upper bass bout with a pointed cutaway on the treble side. It has an oval soundhole with diamond pattern
rosette surrounded by rope marquetry. It
has a carved Ebony bridge and the bound asymmetrical extension fingerboard with
Pearl dot inlays. Deep V shaped Mahogany neck with no truss rod. The headstock has a pearl inlaid Fleur de Lis
in the center with the script The Gibson inlaid at the top. Engraved 3 on a strip right angle tuning
gears. Trapeze tailpiece with celluloid block to retain strings with pearl
inlaid ebony pins. Original black hardshell
case all in exceptionally fine original condition.

GIBSON L-4... Pre Lloyd Loar design, but based on the serial number, it was completed in 1927. This is a non cutaway 16" Maple body archtop with a carved Spruce top finished in a Red Mahogany Sunburst. It has a fully bound body, an oval soundhole with diamond marquetry inlays surrounding it and a deep V neck with "The Gibson" script logo. It has the original Tortoise pickguard, trapeze tailpiece and a carved Ebony bridge. 3 on a Strip tuning gears. Exc. OHSC

GIBSON L-4... Pre Lloyd Loar design, but based on the serial number, it was completed in 1928, the last year this model had the oval soundhole. This is a non cutaway 16" Maple body archtop with a carved Spruce top finished in a Red Mahogany Sunburst. It has a fully bound body, an oval soundhole with diamond marquetry inlays surrounding it and a deep V neck with "The Gibson" script logo. It has the original tortoise style pickguard, trapeze tailpiece and a carved Ebony bridge. 3 on a Strip tuning gears. No cracks, minor lacquer checking. Beautifully set up with great action and sound. Exc.

GIBSON L-4... Early 1928 version of the L-4 as it made the transition to F holes in the following year. It has a round soundhole with 7 ply black/white rosette. Dark Vintage Sunburst finish, non-cutaway, 16" Maple body archtop with a carved Spruce top. Fully bound body and neck, soft deep V neck with Gibson horizontal script logo. It has a 14 fret neck with a Rosewood fingerboard, dark tortoise pickguard, diamond trapeze tailpiece, individual Waverly gears.

GIBSON L-4, 1936. This is a transitional model L-4 from the time when a round soundhole was available. It’s a sunburst finish 16” archtop with a bound spruce top, and a fully bound maple body in a dark brown finish. It has a black finish deep V neck with varied pearl inlays starting on the 1st fret with a truss rod. The bound headstock features a horizontal pearl script logo, a pearl fleur-de-lis inlay and open back Grover tuners. Trapeze tailpiece with no raised diamond, unbound suspended tortoise guard, carved rosewood compensated bridge.

GIBSON BLACK SPECIAL, Pre-War model, no serial number. This black finish 16” archtop has a bound spruce top, a maple body with an unbound flat back, deep V neck with pearl dot inlays with a truss rod, trapeze tailpiece, suspended tortoise guard, adjustable ebony bridge. The headstock has a white script headstock logo and 3 on a strip tuning gears with white pearloid buttons.

GIBSON L-7, 1942 Wartime model. A big 17” deep body acoustic archtop. The carved maple back and sides are dark
walnut finished and the spruce top has a dark vintage sunburst finish. Single bound body and neck also dark finished
feature a rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays. The headstock has a horizontal pearl inlay
script logo and crown inlay. Original
ES-175 style tailpiece, carved bridge and single ply translucent tortoise style
floating pickguard.

GIBSON L-48, 1954. This is one of the good ones with all solid woods and in marvelous original condition. It’s a dark vintage sunburst finish 16” archtop with a bound spruce top, bound maple back and mahogany sides and neck. It has a natural finish comfortable rounded neck with pearl dot inlays in the rosewood neck with a truss rod. The headstock features a Pentographed headstock logo, and open 3-on-a-plate Kluson Deluxe tuners. Trapeze tailpiece with 3 parallel lines stop, unbound suspended black pickguard, carved rosewood compensated bridge.

GIBSON ES-120 T … 1965 Model.
This is a thin archtop hollowbody that is 16 ¼” wide at the lower
bout. It has maple top and back with
mahogany sides, the top and back are single bound. The top is finished in a red to yellow
sunburst while the back and sides are brown.
It features a large black plastic pickguard that has a neck postion
Melody Maker pickup mounted on it along with the volume and tone controls and
the jack. It has a rosewood carved
floating bridge, diamond bar trapeze tailpiece and 1 open “f” hole that is unbound.
The neck is mahogany with white dot inlays and a black unbound headstock
with gold pentograph decal logo. It
features 3 on a strip white button tuning gears.
GIBSON
ES-125 TC … A 1968 model with a
beautifully faded copper top that started out in a cherry finish like the rest
of the guitar. This is a single cutaway
16” semi-hollow body thinline archtop. It
has a bound maple body with an unbound neck that joins on the cutaway body on
the 14th fret. It has the traditional headstock with 3 on a side
tuners. Rosewood fingerboard with pearl
dot inlays. Trapeze tailpiece with a tune-a-matic bridge mounted directly to
the top.
GIBSON ES-135...
1996. This is a rocking semi-hollow body with a sharp single cutaway. The Maple
body is finished in a bright Cherry Red and is fully bound. The neck features a
rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Pentographed headstock logo, green button
gears. It has 2 stack coil P-90's with black covers, with black speed knobs and
a floating pickguard. Trapeze tailpiece and tune-a-matic bridge. Lightweight,

GIBSON ES-150 W… A 1967 model. A very unusual guitar, not found in company literature or the Gruhn guide. Very possibly a prototype. This is a 3” deep body with a dark walnut finish on the maple body and mahogany neck. This is a double cutaway 16” hollow body archtop with 2 humbucking pickups. It has 3-ply binding on the top, a single bound back with a bound neck. It has a crown inlay in the headstock with 3 on a side double ring Kluson tuners. Rosewood fingerboard with pearl block inlays. Trapeze tailpiece with a tune-a-matic set bridge. High hat volume and tone controls, 4-ply black pickguard. Rounded, comfortable, fast action medium profile neck. Orange label, not Union Made, no volute no “Made in USA” stamp. Excellent ++ condition.

Gibson ES-165 Herb
Ellis... This is a sharp cutaway deep body archtop in a Vintage Sunburst
finish. It has a single Gold plated humbucking pickup in the neck position with
a volume and tone control knob on the lower treble bout. Flamed Maple body with
a clear Maple top. Bound Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard with
parallelogram inlays. Gold gears, floating pickguard, trapeze tailpiece. Great
playing and sounding. 1992

GIBSON Howard Roberts Custom, 1979, A vintage sunburst deep
body archtop with a Maple body. This
Custom predated the Fusion model with a sharp cutaway and an oval soundhole, 1
neck mounted humbucking pickup with 2 tone controls and 1 volume that sounds
great. It has a trapeze tailpiece with
engraved insert and a floating bound tortoise pickguard. It also has the “Leaf and Vine” inlay on the
headstock and a pearl script logo.

1961. It's a wine red sunburst??? Mild lacquer checking consistent with the age
of the guitar. Refinished??? Serious player, sounds and feels great, just like

dual controls, trapeze tailpiece, floating 3 ply guard and a carved bridge.

GIBSON ES-175 D… A 1970 model with a light sunburst finish on the quilted maple top, dark mahogany sides and a sunburst maple back. This is a single Florentine cutaway 16” hollow body archtop with 2 humbucking pickups. It has 3-ply bound body with a bound mahogany neck. It has a crown inlay in the headstock with 3 on a side Grover tuners. Rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays. Trapeze tailpiece with a tune-a-matic bridge with an ebony base. GIBSON ES-335TD This
is a great guitar. It's now 30 years old and truly a classic. A double cutaway
thinline semi-hollow electric archtop in a see through Cherry Red finish. All
original with a trapeze tailpiece, black bonnet knobs, a black3 ply floating
pickguard. The body and neck are bound, the 'F' holes and headstock are not.
Kluson double line green button tuners. It has patent number humbuckers with
the usual dual controls and a 3 way switch. Block inlays in the Rosewood neck.
1968 Excellent - OHSC

GIBSON ES-335 TD... 1969, This is an absolutely gorgeous example in superb condition. 1 minor ding. It is a Vintage Sunburst thinline double cutaway with a bound Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard. It has Pearl block inlays on the board and the crown inlay in the headstock. Trapeze tailpiece with a tune-o-matic bridge, 5 ply pickguard, amber tophat knobs, green button Gibson tuners. Superb neck and action.

GIBSON ES-335... 1981. This is one of the very early dot neck reissues. A perfect cherry red double cutaway Maple semi-hollowbody. The neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Pearl crown headstock logo, chrome button gears. It has 2 chrome covered humbuckers, with dual controls and a 3 way switch. Black 3-ply floating pickguard. Stop tailpiece with a tune-a-matic bridge. Great sounding.

GIBSON ES-335 Dot... A natural blond finish semi-hollow body thinline archtop. This is the classic double cutaway bound Maple body with a Mahogany neck. It has a bound Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. This model features nickel hardware, humbucking pickups with dual controls and a 3 way switch. It has a black 3 ply pickguard, a stop tailpiece and a tune-a-matic bridge. 1995

GIBSON ES-335 - Centennial... A Cherry finish double cutaway semi-hollow body thinline archtop. Bound Maple body with a Mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard with Pearl dot inlays. All Gold hardware, 2 '57 Classic humbuckers, dual controls, mono. Engraved Centennial pickguard and fingerboard inlay. Gold headstock medallion. Diamond inlaid tailpiece & headstock. #1904

GIBSON ES-355 – Left Handed 2005, Custom Shop. Flamey blond Maple body double cutaway in a semi-hollow thinline design. This was a special order with Mono Varitone in a left handed model. Designed to look like Gil Southworth’s 1962 ES-355 with gold hardware, full binding on full neck and body, pearl block inlays in the ebony fingerboard and a stop tailpiece. Usual dual tone and volume controls with the addition of the Varitone selector with mono output. The only one made by Gibson.

GIBSON ES-347 … 1990, A tobacco
sunburst finish double cutaway thinline archtop. The semi-hollow maple body is fully bound as
is the neck and headstock. It features and
ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays starting on the 1st
fret. It features the usual dual
controls with an added mini-toggle to operate the split coil function. This model is like a deluxe 335
having gold hardware and split coil pickups. The tuners have built in crank
handles for speed winding, the tailpiece features fine tuning knobs.

GIBSON Trini Lopez Standard, A 1968 – 1969 model in a cherry finish. This is a double cutaway 16” semi-hollow body thinline archtop with the distinctive diamond shaped bound soundholes. It has a bound maple body with a mahogany neck that joins on the 19th fret. It has the firebird style headstock with 6 on a side tuners. Bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl slashed diamond inlays. Original trapeze tailpiece with Trini Lopez shield inset. 2 humbucking pickups with the usual dual controls, and a tune-a-matic bridge. 5 Ply black pickguard with Gibson logo. Fast, comfortable 1 9/16” width neck.

GIBSON Trini Lopez Deluxe… A 1967 Deluxe model in a bright cherry sunburst finish on the quilted maple top, back and sides. It is a double Florentine cutaway 17” hollow body archtop with diamond shape bound soundholes. 2 humbucking pickups, high hat dual volume and tone controls. It has bound body and neck, ebony fingerboard with split diamond inlays and a batwing headstock with 6 in-line tuners. Trapeze tailpiece with Trini Lopez wood insert, tune-a-matic bridge with a rosewood base. Fast action medium profile neck.

GIBSON Barney Kessel Standard … A 1963 model in a faded cherry sunburst finish on the spruce top, back and sides. It is a double Florentine cutaway 17” hollow body archtop with unbound F soundholes. It has 2 nickel covered humbucking pickups, high hat dual volume and tone controls and a 3 way switch on the upper treble bout. It has a bound mahogany neck with a black painted back of the headstock, a rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays and a large headstock with replaced Grover Imperial tuners. Trapeze tailpiece with engraved nameplate, and a carved rosewood bridge and base. It has a 3 point 3 ply black floating pickguard.

finish on the body and neck with a maple top, back and sides.
It is a double Florentine cutaway 17” hollow body archtop with unbound F

GIBSON ES-336 - Custom Shop ... A 3 Tone Sunburst finish double cutaway thinline semi-hollowbody. The body is smaller than a 335 and considerably lighter. The body is carved Mahogany with a bound Maple top. It has a 22 fret bound Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. It features a new tapered headstock shape that gives the strings a very straight, even pull for exact tuning. Humbucking pickups with the usual dual controls. Gorgeous, great player. finish and features a narrowing shape that allows for straight string path over
the nut. Gold hardware including the 2

GIBSON Super 400 – Rick Derringer’s, This one is really special, a blond 1958 Gibson Super 400 C. Rick bought this guitar in 1965 shortly after the release of “Hang on Sloopy” with the McCoys. He has written many songs on this guitar over the years and has been one of his most prized instruments. It is a spectacular blond Gibson Super 400 C acoustic cutaway archtop that is in beautiful condition. The flamed maple body absolutely rings, it has a clear, loud voice that is well balanced with no dead spots. Great action and setup, the neck and frets are perfect. Original brown case.

GRETSCH Synchromatic 400 ... Very early reissue from the new Gretsch Guitar Co. Originally sold by us in 1989, it is the 20th on built for the US. A classic acoustic archtop with cat's eye soundholes, large bound tortoise pickguard, gold stairstep tailpiece and script inlaid paddle headstock. The flamed maple body is finished in a Vintage Sunburst as is the solid Spruce top. Fully bound with split hump block inlays. A classic! Great looking and sounding.

GRETSCH Synchromatic 100 ... 1945, This is a non cutaway 16” wide archtop in an auburn sunburst finish. The quilted maple body and neck are single bound, with thin unbound “F” holes in the carved spruce top. The 3 piece neck has the offset profile and a rosewood fingerboard and large block inlays. Synchromatic headstock with script logo, and replaced open tuning gears. No truss rod, but the neck is nice and straight. Bound black replacement pickguard, carved rosewood bridge and trapeze tailpiece.

GRETSCH Corsair... 1955, Model 6014. A 1st year of issue for the Corsair which evolved from the Synchromatic 100. It is a non-cutaway Sunburst finish acoustic archtop with a 16” wide body that is 3 ½” deep. It has large open “F” holes, the open “G” tailpiece, a carved rosewood bridge and a large gray floating pickguard. The body, neck and headstock are fully bound and the rosewood fingerboard has block pearloid inlays. “T” top headstock logo. Very clean, plays and sounds great.

Gretsch Synchromatic 400,
2004, The classic catseye soundhole design of a deep body, 17” acoustic archtop
in a brown sunburst finish. It has a
fully bound body flamed maple body with a bound 3 piece neck with an ebony
fingerboard with slashed humpblock pearl inlays. Bound cateye soundholes in the
spruce top, curved stairstep bridge, Grover Imperial tuners and an elongated
tortoise pickguard.

GRETSCH Country Club... Blond Beauty! 1957, Model 6193. A natural finish single cutaway full depth archtop. The 17" body is fully bound and features all of the transitional Gretsch components; it has the hump block inlays, 2 creamy smooth DeArmond pickups with a master volume control and that wonderful Melita bridge and the Grover Imperial stairstep tuning gears. This model has the cut-out "G" tailpiece and the thick black engraved pickguard.

GRETSCH Double Anniversary, 1959, Model 6118. This is far and away the cleanest early Double Anniversary model we’ve ever seen in this two-tone smoke green finish. The finish is nearly perfect, almost no lacquer checking, and very little playing wear at all. Gretsch celebrated their 75th Anniversary starting in 1958 and continued the model in various forms for over 10 years. This is a very early model; it has never had the Anniversary plaque on the headstock installed. It even has the original Filtertron pickups that by 1960 were replaced with the more economical Hi-Lo Tron pickups that replaced them. The pickguard is perfect, no cracks. The tuners are original as is the early version roller bridge. G tailpiece, thumbnail inlays, the whole package in the original hard shell case.


GRETSCH Anniversary Model 6124 ... 1959, The second year of production of this model that celebrated 75 years of the Gretsch Musical Instruments Company. This is a sunburst finish model with a single cutaway. It has a 16" body, 21/2" inches deep, with a single PAF Filtertron pickup in the neck position. Master volume control and a 3-way switch. "G" tailpiece with a roller bridge, Unbound neck with a Rosewood fingerboard with thumbnail inlays. Anniversary plaque on the headstock.

GRETSCH 6120 Nashville... 1967, A double cutaway thinline hollowbody finished in a bright Gretsch Orange. Typical of the model at this time it features closed painted "F" holes, a black backpad, a single mute, and thumbnail inlays. It has a gold Bigsby tailpiece with bar bridge, 2 Filtertron pickups, 2 3-way switches, master volume and standby switch. 3 Piece Mahogany neck, headstock plaque, floating pickguard.

GRETSCH Chet Atkins Tennessean … 1967, Model 6119. This is a 16” semi-hollow body single cutaway archtop. It has a reddish see through finish on the maple body and 3 piece maple neck. The body is closed with painted “F” holes, the top has single ply binding and the rosewood fingerboard with neo-classical inlays is also bound. It has a Bigsby flat arm tailpiece, a bar bridge, open tuners and a signature silver pickguard. It has 2 Hi-Lo Tron humbucking pickups with dual volume controls, 2 3-way selector switches, an off/on switch and a master volume control. Headstock nameplate, and a bullet truss rod cover.

GRETSCH Chet Atkins TENNESSEAN, 1967, Model 6119 A single cutaway 16" thinline body with closed "F" holes. Faded Walnut finish top with slightly darker mahogany body and neck. 2 Ply bound top, and neo-classic thumbnail inlays in the bound ebony fingerboard with zero fret. The headstock has the model plaque and inlaid horizontal Gretsch logo, and features 2 very good sounding HiLo-Tron pickups. I has nickel finish open back tuners and the original thick silver engraved pickguard. The Bigsby tremelo and roller bridge.

GRETSCH Chet Atkins NASHVILLE, 1971, Model 6120. This guitar is in really spectacular condition. It’s a bright orange finish double cutaway 16" body with closed "F" holes. It features the neo-classic thumbnail inlays in the bound ebony fingerboard with zero fret. It has a bound headstock with the model plaque and inlaid horizontal Gretsch logo. Gold hardware includes the 2 Filter-Tron pickups, the tuners control knobs and plaque and raised gold pickguard. The Bigsby tremelo and bridge are chromed. It has an intact black backpad with gold trim.

HOFNER Committee 1963, A Spectacular blond birdseye maple 18” deep body acoustic archtop. This was one of the most elaborate guitars made by Hofner during the late 1950’s and early 60’s. It is a single cutaway design with multiple bindings of alternating black and white with a pearloid outer layer. The top is spruce and the single piece back and the sides are beautifully figured birdseye maple. It features the delicate wood marquetry inlays on the back. It has the original gold plated lyre tailpiece, the clear engraved pickguard, Hofner sealed gears with pearloid buttons and the adjustable compensated bridge. Later version tulip shaped headstock with pearl inlaid floral design with Hofner banner. HOFNER 462 / S ARCHTOP The model was introduced 1953, and this would appear to be a very early one of the series with no truss rod. It is a natural finish single cutaway design, 16" at the lower bout, 2 15/16" deep at the edge of this deeply carved spruce top, with a bookmatched flamed maple back, flamed maple sides: Five piece maple/mahogany/maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard with 7 contrasting pearloid block inlays. The headstock face is white pearloid with a wedge of rosewood in the center, no inlays. 25.5" Scale Length, jumbo frets, open strip tuners with white plastic buttons. Bound cat’s eye soundholes, Hofner adjustable bridge and original nickel frequensator style tailpiece. Hofner Logo gold decal on upper bass bout of the body. It has a single pickup mounted into the end of the fingerboard, a very unusual feature. It has single volume and tone controls and a non original replacement bound pickguard. HSC

HOPF Saturn 63 … 1963, German made semi-hollow body archtop. Inspired by the dawning of the space age this was a stellar achievement in the guitar world. It has a carved spruce top that merges seamlessly with the maple back. It features 2 teardrop soundholes located on the bass side of the body that have chrome binding. It has 2 chrome covered single coil pickups controlled by 2 volume pots and a 3 way tone control located on a chrome mounting plate on the lower treble bout. The guitar features a tremelo tailpiece that is silky smooth combined with the rocker mounted adjustable bridge. It has a suspended clear plexiglass pickguard engraved with Hopf in gold letters. The neck is constructed out of vertical slats of maple about 1mm thick for high tensile strength and capped with a rosewood fingerboard. 24 ¾” scale length with a zero fret The neck is perfectly straight now after 40 years without the need of s truss rod; it has a hockey stick style headstock with 6 on a side tuning gears with crowned pearloid buttons. OAHU Archtop, Valco serial number, from 1951. Like a National Club Combo but with a single pickup. Solid wood deep Maple body with 3-ply binding in a natural Blond finish. The top has lots of flame. It has a floating Black pickguard with the volume and tone controls mounted on it and the jack built into the side pickguard mount, very unique. The single pickup is mounted to the fingerboard base. NATIONAL New Yorker, 1947. A natural blond finish 15 ½” maple body archtop with flamed sides and
beautifully quilted single piece top and back.
It has a small rectangular neck humbucker with dual controls mounted on
the thick black scalloped pickguard.
Amplifier jack connects on pickguard support and is the older style
screw on connector. Mahogany neck is
black finished and has pearl dot inlays in the rosewood fingerboard. Carved rosewood bridge, trapeze tailpiece,

RECORDING KING M5 ... A pre-war Gibson made non cutaway acoustic. Originally distributed by Montgomery Ward mail order, this was one of the high end pieces, a 17" full depth archtop. It has a blond flamed Maple body with a spruce top, 5 ply binding on top, 3 ply on the back. It has a 5 piece neck, with no truss rod, the fingerboard is bound Rosewood with large diamond inlays. It features a bound floating pickguard, diamond inlaid bridge and a double wire trapeze tailpiece. 1 repaired top crack, oversprayed. 1936.

It is a 16" wide single cutaway acoustic with a deep, flamed maple body in a natural finish. is a hand carved 17" single cutaway archtop with a highly flamed maple
body and carved Engelman spruce top that is multi-bound on all edges. It has a single “J.Smith” style pickup
mounted on the multi-bound colored pickguard.
It features the classic, engraved gold stairstep tailpiece, Grover
Imperial gears on the oversize headstock with center finial. This magnificent neck with oversize headstock
is carved from a single piece of highly flamed rock maple, the back of the
headstock is black finished and has an abalone diamond inlay between the

TRIGGS New Yorker Solidbody... 2000, Millenium Model. Here’s something really special, a solidbody from Jim Triggs. It is a single cutaway design made with a mahogany body and neck, with a flamed maple top. This is a very elaborate guitar that is bound with abalone around the top of the body. The bound neck features a “Tree of Life” fingerboard inlay and the oversize New Yorker headstock with cutout and finial. It has all gold hardware including the Grover Imperial stairstep tuners, a single humbucking pickup mounted at the neck, the fine tuning tailpiece and tune-a-matic style bridge. Bound floating pickguard, top mount jack. The guitar sounds and plays as good as it looks. A work of art.

Triggs New Yorker Solidbody, 2006. Amber Blond finish. This is a mahogany body single cutaway solidbody with a highly flamed maple top that is multi-bound. It has a single gold plated humbucking pickup with single volume and tone controls on the lower treble bout. It has a multi-bound colored pickguard. It features a stop tailpiece with tune-a-matic tailpiece, Grover Imperial gears on the oversize headstock with center finial. The mahogany neck has a soft V shape with an ebony fingerboard with split block inlays. The oversize “New Yorker” headstock has a gold finial piece and engraved pearl inlay. A killer guitar.

TRIGGS San Francisco … 2002. A very innovative guitar. It’s a single cutaway thinline maple hollow body finished in a metallic plum color. It has a satin finish mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays and a very smooth neckheel / body joint. It is very comfortable to play. It’s a high tech archtop with straight string pull locking tuners, graphite nut, very smooth medium frets, tune-a-matic bridge with a stop tailpiece. It has some very hot custom wound Gibson pickups with coil taps in the tone controls. Bound sharkfin soundholes in the 17” body. Very Cool!

TRIGGS Rio
… 2000. This is one from Jim’s private
stock. Only 3 of them were made in 2000,
and has never been offered for sale before.
This is a killer semi-hollow body 17” thinline archtop finished in a
light pastel blue. It has a single
sharkfin soundhole on the bass side of the fully bound body and a mahogany
neck. It has a rosewood fingerboard with
pearl dot inlays. The pickups are
soapbars controlled with 2 volume and 1 tone control.with a mini-toggle
selector switch. It features a 25
1/2" scale. The headstock features
pearl inlaid Triggs logo and lightning bolt inlay with imperial stairstep
tuners. All gold plated hardware
including the stop tailpiece and tune-a-matic style bridge. This is a really great sounding and playing
guitar.
