A single premium-quality direct-mounted pickup is being offered in this guitar; the Custom 14 is a new custom hand-wound pickup designed exclusively for ESP by Seymour Duncan. The flexible and dynamic Custom 14 pickup offers everything you want, from chimey cleans to sizzling classic rock and metal, to the most crushing, tight modern chug. A push-pull control on the volume knob splits this pickup to the most wide-ranging single coil bridge territory we've ever offered.
