We grade items based on Reverb's grading system:
'Open box' or the cleanest examples and include original case candy, etc.
Minor cosmetic defects, such as surface scratches. Fully functional and in great shape.
More cosmetic imperfections than Excellent, but still in great overall condition.
Significant cosmetic imperfections, but the item is fully functional.
Various imperfections that may impact functionality, but the item is still playable.

Custom Telecaster associated with Philip Kubicki (1943–2013). Kubicki joined Fender in 1964 under Roger Rossmeisl and spent about nine years in R&D. He built George Harrison’s rosewood Telecaster and worked on the Telecaster Thinline, LTD/Montego archtops, and other late-’60s Fender projects. After leaving Fender in the early 1970s he opened Philip Kubicki Technology in Santa Barbara, building custom electrics, Fender-style bodies and necks, and later the Factor bass.
